Nonin’s PureLight® pulse oximetry sensors and EQUANOX regional oximetry sensors provide proven, consistent results--patient to patient and sensor to sensor. Using Nonin PureSAT® pulse oximeters together with Nonin PureLight® sensors is the only way to ensure you’re getting clinically proven SpO2 accuracy, consistency and reliability in the widest range of patients and settings.

Nonin's PureLight® SpO2 sensor technology, combined with Nonin’s PureSAT® signal processing technology, provides proven accuracy, reliability and consistency in the widest range of patients and clinical settings. Nonin pulse oximeter sensors are designed for numerous clinical applications, for pediatric to adult patients. Choose from a variety of reusable and single-patient-use disposable options. Compatible with Nonin tabletop, wrist-worn and hand-held pulse oximeters, the LifeSense™ capnograph/pulse oximeter, and select Nonin OEM pulse oximeters.

Versatile Sensor Solutions

Nonin's latex-free* reusable and disposable sensors are easy to use and fit a wide range of patients from neonatal to adult. Highly versatile, they are designed for numerous clinical applications and utilize our proven PureLight® LEDs that emit a single, pure and clean light source that is accurate from patient to patient.

Accurate and Dependable SpO2 Readings Start with PureLight® Sensors.

The PureLight Principle

Red and infrared light sources (LEDs) are essential to pulse oximetry sensors.

The red LED measures deoxygenated hemoglobin

The infrared LED measures oxygenated hemoglobin

Common red LEDs may produce a secondary spectrum emission (contamination)

Contamination impacts the oxygenated hemoglobin measurement

LED contamination affects an oximeter's calibration curve resulting in inaccurate SpO2 readings below 80%

PureLight red LEDs only produce the pure light spectrum

PureLight LEDs do not cause a shift in the oximeter's calibration curve at SpO2 levels below 80%

Nonin PureLight sensors eliminate variations in readings from patient to patient and sensor to sensor

PureLight sensors produce a high-intensity pure light spectrum which eliminates variations in readings from patient-to-patient and sensor-to-sensor.
