Monitoring Body Position is actually monitoring the sensor in relation to the direction of gravity. SleepSense Body Position Sensors were designed so that the prone and supine positions cover a larger angle, while the left and right positions are reported by the sensor only if the patiient is indeed balanced on that side within limits of a narrower angle.
