SleepSense Semi-Reusable Inductive Bands are made of a high-quality, soft & flexible material providing superior comfort to the patient. Velcro tabs allow you to conform any band specifically to your patient’s size. The generous width of the band minimizes the sliding and shifting that occurs during the night. The Adult XXL size is approximately 150cm in length and will stretch to 150% of its size.
The inductance of the inductive belts is exactly proportional to the cross section area of the band's closed loop around the body. It thereforechanges as the patient breathes. The electronics in the system or interface box measure these inductance changes to generate a signal that is an accurate and reliable replication of respiratory waveforms. Inductive belts easily connect to any system compatible with inductive effort sensors through a dedicated SleepSense Interface Cable.
SleepSense Inductive Belts are semi-reusable and should last for around 70 uses, however some labs have reported much longer usage.
